The box is cardboard, mostly purple with some black bits. The top has a standup part on it that reads "Hidari Detective Agency". The message on it says: Need help? Know someone that does? See something weird you want someone to look into? Leave me a note here!

On February 11, Philip woke up back in his cell fit as a fiddle. He even had his eye back, which was great.

...why was Shotaro in his bed?

Philip stared at Shotaro curiously for a few moments. But his bed was crowded like this. So finally he shoved Shotaro. "Wake up."

He woke with a start and he needed a minute to see Philip. He smiled. "Hey."

Philip sighed in mock exasperation. "Were you worried?"

"No, my bed was lumpy," he answered. "Hey, I can look you in both eyes again."

"Indeed." He brought a hand up to prod at his left eye. Through the eyelid, thank goodness. "Ah... I wonder if this means I have my spleen back too."

"Probably." Knowing what they knew about how this place worked, it wouldn't be surprising at all.

He sat up and swung his legs off the bed. He reached over and gave Philip a pat on the shoulder. "Glad to see you again, partner."

Philip sat up and nodded. "How did you and Fetch do?"

He sighed. "We won. But she's mad at me for one of the ones I got wrong." That was putting it mildly. "So I'm going to give her some space."

"I see." Maybe he could find footage of the game somewhere later. Right now he had another question. "Shotaro, what is a crush?"

He smirked. "It's when someone feels like they like someone else and they haven't gotten the courage to tell them yet. Who's the lucky girl?"

"Like... romantically? But Nonon Jakuzure has never indicated that she has those sorts of feelings for me." Yep. There's your answer.

"Nonon? She's a weird girl but kinda cute." He gave Philip a playful nudge. "That's how they work for a while. The person with the crush doesn't always make it obvious at first."

This was an easy conversation. Easier than yesterday. "What do you think about her?"

"Ah, dammit. One game like that and all the girls lose their minds." He pulled himself up to his feet. "Come on, partner. Let's take a walk."

He looked up at Shotaro curiously before getting to his feet. "I suppose we should get breakfast..."

Sigh. "She blamed me for our losing even though she's the one who didn't answer correctly."

He laughed. "Philip, listen. She probably was picking something that she thought you would like, even if you don't think it was accurate. I'd have to say she's got good taste if she's picked up the investigational brilliance of Shotaro Hidari. And if she's got an eye on your effortless charms, partner."

"My charms...?" Shotaro was making no sense, as usual. Philip sighed in frustration. "But she said that you're smarter than me! How can she be attracted to me if she doesn't know anything about me?"

"They wanted first and last name, right? Since she didn't know yours, she probably picked someone you liked as a second choice. I guess she didn't expect how determined you were to get around that," he shrugged.
