Tip Box
The box is cardboard, mostly purple with some black bits. The top has a standup part on it that reads "Hidari Detective Agency". The message on it says: Need help? Know someone that does? See something weird you want someone to look into? Leave me a note here!

[ Never mind. She wasn't willing to plainly admit that she was upset because it had been dark for so long. ]

[ Fetch didn't really want to venture down the dark halls on her own, but asking Shotaro to do it just wasn't fair. She still had all her limbs at least. And her communicator. That emitted some light, but not near enough for her liking.

She felt pretty lucky that they lived on the same floor, and with a little extra urgency in her step she got to his cell quickly. ]

Sho? You're in there, right?

Yeah, right here. [He's got a flashlight propped up and he's tacking away at the typewriter. But something didn't feel right here.

He puts the typewriter aside and heads to the door, bracing himself on the wall in lieu of his crutch.]

[ Fetch reached up and gave him a gentle punch on the chest. She sounded relieved to see him, but still uneasy. ]

Is your partner around? Philip?

Nah, you've got me all to yourself for now. [And he reaches an arm around her shoulder. Girlfriend crutch.]

[ Just that made her feel a whole lot better. ]

What're you writin' about in here, Mr. Detective?

Normally, it would be case reports, but I don't really have any cases. Unless we count Deadman Wonderland as the biggest case any detective has ever taken on. I'm just keeping notes on the important stuff that goes on around here.

[ She finally let herself smile freely. ]

Hey, there it is. I can definitely see that in the dark.

You okay?

[sentimentalpsycho]

[ She nodded, but her smile faded a bit. ]

Yeah, I... it's just been a long time since I was alone in the dark. I know it sounds stupid. I always had my brother around to make me feel better, y'know?

[ She realized then that Brent would have really liked Shotaro. ]

This place is pretty spooky like this. And down here especially.

[cuddling on the bed time! He sits up against the pillows and tugs her over to join him.]

You're just sayin' that so I won't feel bad about bein' so chicken.

[ Fetch doesn't put up a fight against his tugging, though. ]

Did it work? [Arm stretched around the shoulders of the tiny girlfriend. And he's smirking over at her.]

[ She looked up at him and laughed. ]

What's that sly look on your face for?!

Just wondering how a guy like me got this lucky. Guess there is something to this trump card thing.

Or maybe it's just cause you're a sweet guy with a cute face.

[ It was her turn to smirk. ]

[And now he's turning red and he's kind of speechless.]

[ She tilted her head to the side, a mischievous glint in her eyes. ]

Cat got your tongue, cutie?

[He reached up to adjust a fedora he's not wearing. Yup he's a little flustered. Instead he goes for the tie knot.] Ah, dammit.... [And his recovery move is to move in for makeouts.]

[ Fetch gave a small laugh at his reaction, but as soon as he moved in she scooted closer and wrapped her arms around his neck, leaning into the kiss. Who knew she'd find prince charming in prison? ]

[ And this is when Philip comes barging in. He didn't bother to bring a flashlight because he's holding BOOKS and he knows Shotaro's room well enough anyway. ]

Shotaro! Have you seen this bicycle prototype supposedly designed by a Renaissance artist named Leonardo da Vinci?

[Making out with the girlfriend is the best-- oh it's Philip. To his credit, he doesn't complain too much. He pulls out of kissing her and buries his face in the crook of her neck with a light chuckle.] Still reading even during a blackout, you research maniac.
